Why Israel went to War

In peacetime, Dan Gordon is a playwright but when Israel goes to war, Gordon becomes part of Israel's IDF spokesmen's bureau. In the eight day of the war and just hours before the cease fire was announced, we met with Gordon.

With the skyline of Ashdod in the background as well as two Iron Dome anti-missile batteries just behind us, Gordon gave CBN News an excellent summary of the war between Hamas and Israel.

It's just under ten minutes long but if you want agreat capsule of why Israel felt compelled to respond militarily, Gordon provides a timely and eloquent analysis.
